Is This A Scam?

We have received emails from people asking if this is a scam.

First off, how could you be getting scammed when you were not asked for anything? You have not paid us any money. We have not asked you for any money.

It blows our minds at how people think that when someone is trying to help them, there is some kind of catch or they are going to want something in return. Is this what the world really has come to?

Well that is not the case. The only thing we have asked you to do is to tell us how we can help you. If that is what you call a scam , then I guess we are scamming you into helping you.

It is finally official – we have launched!

You may now click on the “request assistance” link to make your request for assistance as long as it is a “true need” and you follow the guidelines.

We hope to help many people in a variety of ways from this website.

Can you spend $1,000 – $5,000 – $10,000 helping someone else?

This is not my original idea, I am taking this idea from the television show The Big Give. I want to see how other people think and what they would do if given the opportunity to help others.

So if I gave you $1,000, $5,000 or $10,000 and a video camera what would you do to help someone else? Let me know, be creative….

Who knows, you may get the chance to do it and we can have the video on the website documenting your giving experience.
