Requests For Assistance Being Received From Philanthropist

By Recommend Post

We are receiving new requests as of today Friday, August 15, 2008.

The philanthropist has instructed me to post the following information:
If you have not yet received a call from a staff member concerning your request as of today, you will need to resubmit your request. We apologize for the inconvenience but this is something we must do.

The questionnaire questions are about the same, however we have had a special algorithms programmed in that will look at how you answer the questions. When it looks at your answers it generates an output that helps us quickly sort through requests. We still manually check things but the new feature will help, we hope.

You will receive an email confirmation that your request was received. Be sure you type the correct email address.

Please note, if your request falls into anything described in the philanthropists previous post there is no need for you to resubmit your request as it will be rejected.

Click here to resubmit your request if you need to.

Best Regards,

Admin

Thank you for youe e-mail asking everyone to re-submit requests. I have decided, despite my circumstances not having changed, not to do so.
My reasons for this are that, whilst I considered my request a true need, I have realised that my true need is no where near as great as countless others. My-self and my family have a roof over our heads and are able to eat. When I look at all of the problems in the world I feel selfish to have even asked you for your help in the first place, and at present am quite disgusted with my-self. I truly hope that when people read my comments they will review their own circumstances and possibly follow my lead in order to make your job a little easier!
I would like to apologise to you for what I now consider to be a waste of your so precious time, and thank you again for all of the wonderful work you continue to do in changing peoples lives.
    Most Sincerely,
    Ruth x

    To Ruth,
I want to thank you for your unselfish act to step down and allow myself and others a possible chance at some help.

We were probably raised by parent clones. My parents always had the knowledge of showing us someone whom was way worse off then us,making us realize how truly blessed we were at the time.

This time tho knowing so many have a multitude of problems more urgent to being solved,I can not step down or aside.

So for you,Ruth, big hugs and blessingd your way always.
    Sincerly,
    Mary ann

I thank you dearly for letting me resumitting my request and I thank god that you have a heart of gold to really want to help others. Being the type of person that you are I know that people can feel confedent that theres some one who cares and loves sharing in other people lives the pain that they have to suffer when things are not going right in a persons life.I think the real pain is when theres no one who will care. I look back on my life and I saw the pain I had to indore because of the problems that I had and know one really did care but now with god in my life I see the difference that I never knew before and that was the act of knowing god cared if nobody did.So I thank god that he has planted in your heart to be that caring person that wants to help others with there needs.

I re-submitted my request. Thank you for letting us know. I do need the help. My situation is becoming worse by the day. I pray hourly that I will hear from your representative soon. I am not the type of person to just take a free handout. Somehow, someway I will pay this assistance back to you. Again, I am getting closer to becoming homeless. It will be only a matter of days now. My situation is becoming bleaker. I appreciate all that you are doing for people in need. God Bless Each and Everyone of You. I am looking forward to hear from you.

Can we make adjustments to our request? Mine is less.

I hope this doesnt turn out to be a double posting, and my apologies if it is. I recently had to change my phone number, and with the Support Ticket function being down, I wasnt sure how else to go about possibly getting new contact information to the staff…

Again, my apologies if this is a double submission, I was having internet problems earlier today.

    Thank you.

I sit back and reflect on the reasoning for your kindness and I reflected on what I can do for others. I did request assistance, and I still do require help, but I pray daily that God will help. Please consider what is happening in Houston Tx today. I have opened my 2 bedroom appt to 15 additional people today. We are cramped, but we have power today where so many do not. By just pulling together since yesterday, we are not hungry, we have air. We can’t go anywhere due to trees and debris everywhere but we are safe. We are running low on water, but will try to venture out today. I have no money, but I praise God that I have something, that I can help others with. I guess that’s what is all about, and I understand why someone would create such a place where people could get the help they need. Just by allowing others to share this space with me and my daughter, I have a renewed spirit as well. Thank you for the inspiration.
