Has Your Request For Help From The Philanthropist Been Approved?

By Recommend Post

As you know we have been working to really streamline this websites for you.

We have already made adjustments to the request form and will be adding some more improvements soon. If you have already submitted a request you will “not” have to resubmit your request when these new improvements take place.

We have received many blog comments from people stating they hope their request is awarded but they don’t know if it was rejected or not.

Because we only contact individuals whose request was awarded, the philanthropist wanted to put an end to the waiting and wondering. So as a solutions the philanthropist has decided to put a time table on the process.

From the day your request is submitted a 90 day clock starts. If you have not been contacted within 90 days of submitting your request, you should consider if not approved. This will put an end to the wondering and waiting. This time table may change to 60 days, but due to the current volume of requests we believe
this will be the correct number of days to start with.

For all requests submitted before September 1, your clock officially stated September 1.

Three categories your request can fall in:

1. Immediate Award (you would be contacted once your request was reviewed and approved. This does not mean your request will be awarded the same day you submit it because it will not even be reviewed the same day you submit it due to the volume of requests received.)

2. Put on Hold (your request passed the approval process but will not be awarded immediately. Why would it not be awarded immediately – there may be a more pressing need, the monthly budget may have been used up, etc..)

3. Request Rejected (request did not pass the approval process)

We hope that this new time table will help streamline the entire process.

That’s understandable, I guess I am on the hold list because I was contacted and have heard nothing since then. I am aware that the hurricane Ike victims are in need more than me so I am patient. Thank you again for the blog update.
